TiKV 扩容节点报错：
tiup cluster scale-out cluster-name conf/scale-out-tikv.yaml

Starting component cluster: scale-out cluster-name conf/scale-out-tikv.yaml

The directory you specified in the topology file is:

Directory: log directory /data/tidb/tidb-log

Component: pd 10.42.140.120

It overlaps to another instance:

Other Directory: log directory /data/tidb/tidb-log

Other Component: pump 10.42.140.120

Please modify the topology file and try again.

这个提示是目录下有其他的实例了，看下这些报错节点是不是还有其他的集群占用着目录，小心别混用目录了。

以前不报这错，最近扩容才报这错的，是不是最近升级tiup导致的？

我也遇到这个错误了，扩容tikv报错的，这台机器还是新买的，你是怎么解决的？
扩容配置文件，配置文件目录在另外一台机器上都没有

扩容时，目录不需要手工创建，会自动创建的。

建议开新贴询问。
正常扩容操作，是不需要在新服务器上手工创建目录的。

没有创建新的目录，按照官方的配置模版
出现的报错是（和pd的目录冲突）：
‘tiflash_server:10.200.226.175.data_dir’ is overwritten by its storage configuration. Now the data_dir is /home/dba/tidb/tiflash/data/0,/home/dba/tidb/tiflash/data/1,/home/dba/tidb/tiflash/data/2,/home/dba/tidb/tiflash/data/3
