I have created https://github.com/pingcap/tidb-operator/issues/4303 to trace this issue.
BTW, did you configure spec.clusterDomain?
That is for the case where you want to deploy TiDB cluster across multiple Kubernetes clusters.
If you do not need to do that, just remove the spec.clusterDomain.
